Fundraise for Animals

Thank you for hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL)!

Whether you’re celebrating a life milestone, donating a percentage of sales, holding an event, or simply looking to give back to your community, hosting a fundraiser is a great way to support ARL. Because ARL receives no government grants or public funding, every contribution is appreciated and makes a powerful difference for animals in need!

Past fundraisers have included bake sales, lemonade stands, and collections by companies, schools or places of worship. Many people also ask family and friends to make donations in place of birthday gifts and wedding favors – or in memory of a loved one.

Due to the high volume of requests, ARL is unable to provide adoptable animals, staff, or volunteers to assist with event logistics. We reserve the right to promote events at our sole discretion. We appreciate your understanding.

Interested in Fundraising for Animals? It’s Simple!

  1. Let us know you’re hosting a fundraiser! Please complete this brief Event Application Form to provide details about your fundraiser.

  2. Promote your fundraiser. Once approved, we can email you a fundraiser toolkit to help you spread the word to your family, friends, and networks. Please note that the “Animal Rescue League of Boston” name and logo are trademarked and cannot be used without written permission.

  3. Collect donations. We recommend using a third-party site, such as setting up a Facebook Fundraiser, which submits donations directly to ARL.  You can also collect cash donations.  For certain fundraisers, ARL may issue a unique secure donation link for your specific use.

  4. Submit donations to ARL. If you do not use a third-party site or are not issued a unique ARL donation, you can submit your donation within 30 days of your fundraiser’s conclusion in one of the following ways:

            • Make a check out to “Animal Rescue League of Boston” and mail it to Animal Rescue League of Boston, Attn: Development, 10 Anna’s Place, Dedham, MA 02026
            • Enter your credit or debit card information into our secure online donation form
            • Call the Development Department at 617-426-9170 x603
